Please be advised of the upcoming temporary closure of Sideline 14 and Salem Road (between Highway 7 and Seventh Concession Road) related to the construction of Highway 407 East Phase 1. The closures will be from October 10, 2013 to June 30, 2014(approximately 9 months) in order for the Hwy 407 underpass structures to be constructed. Detour routes for the duration of the closure will be posted using Paddock Road for the Sideline 14 closure, and using Westney Road for Salem Road closure.
Traffic Disruption Notifications (attached) have been issued by 407 East Construction General Partnership and have been hand delivered to affected residents in the vicinity. Traffic control plans have been prepared for the road closures and detour routes. Advance road closure notification signs are currently in place. Road closure and detour signs will be installed on October 10.
